Focus Areas

Rural Addiction Prevention partners with communities in a comprehensive effort to prepare community organizations to identify SUD problems, increase the availability of evidence based treatment options, increase evidence based prevention efforts within schools and churches, and lower the overall SUD rate within these communities.
Rural Addiction Prevention aims to destigmatize substance use disorder in rural areas through promoting treatment over punishment in both schools and criminal courts.
Rural Addiction Prevention aims to prevent SUD by providing evidence-based materials and trainings through in-school prevention programs, educational events, and our collection of support services.
